FAQ for ODA's

As an ODA (Other Services Provider), what master data can I request?

ODAs are not given access to the C-AR. Information about connections (e.g. physical capacity, meter type) and information about active market players (who is the supplier) is not available to ODAs.

How can I request measurement data?

Via a web-service link with the CTS portal. You'll receive more information about this during the qualification. Keep in mind that you need a certificate to access EDSN's systems.

Which measurement data can I access?

Via the CTS portal, you can only receive meter readings from small-scale consumer connections where a smart meter is installed. Please note: you only get the meter readings. Calculating usage is something you must do yourself. Keep caloric correction factors in mind, among other things.

Can I request real-time measurement data?

This is not possible. Meter readings are always posted on the CTS portal one day later. ODAs can get the information there.

Do I need a permit?

ODAs are required to provide the grid operators with an auditor's statement once each year. The statement type is ISAE 3000A type II. This auditor's statement ensures that your customer mandates are valid, among other things. Carefully examine the costs this involves.
